Jennifer Bao

VP of Finance

Broad-shouldered and highly operational finance executive with 20+ years of end-to-end accounting and finance experience, building finance teams and systems for Silicon Valley startups, being instrumental in their growth at all stages from ground zero to acquisition and IPO. Client includes: EZChip, Joint Venture Silicon Valley Network, Nicira (acquired by VMWare), Cloudera, Nemo (acquired by Cisco), Ecofactor (acquired by Trane), Stata Lab (acquired by Yahoo) and more. Jennifer has been with StreamSets since it was founded in 2014.

Mary Berg

VP of Business Development

Mary is an entrepreneurial, innovative and results-focused professional with more than 20 years of experience in direct sales, channels business development, channel marketing, management, and channels management. She is responsible for building partnerships and alliances with leading technology companies and ISVs.

Jarcec Cecho

VP of Engineering, Development

Jarcec is passionate about building. As VP of engineering for development at StreamSets, his mission is to build the best data integration platform on the planet by building a great team and community. Previously, he was manager of data integration at Cloudera for Flume and Sqoop Flume, and responsible for Hadoop clusters in production at AVG security. He is active in the Apache Software Foundation.

Alexandra Erman

VP of People

With 25 years’ experience in SMB and start-ups, Alexandra brings to StreamSets an international perspective and experience with SaaS companies. In her previous role at Agorapulse as Head of People, Finance and Internal Ops, Alexandra successfully helped grow revenues from 0 to $10M and the team from 11 to 64, representing over 12 countries.

Greg Fields

VP of Global Presales

Greg has been in development, post sales, presales, and presales leadership for 30 years, and loves the art and science of technical selling. At StreamSets, he leads an incredible group of talented SE’s who are helping grow the core business by showing true value to our prospects and customers, while staying on the cutting edge of data technology. A data industry veteran, Greg spent 2 decades at Informatica, advancing from individual SE to VP of North America presales, helping to grow the company from a $100M startup to $1.3B in revenues.

Merrick Huang

VP of Worldwide Support

Merrick has made a career out of support, starting out as a technical support engineer, progressing to a team lead, and eventually making the transition to building support teams. Prior to joining StreamSets, Merrick has held technical support roles at Plumtree Software, BEA Systems, Oracle, Proofpoint, and Couchbase.

Shekhar Iyer


Shekhar is responsible for the company's Global Customer Operations including Sales, Marketing and Customer Success functions. Iyer's career includes more than a decade of executive roles at Couchbase, SAP and Informatica. Before joining StreamSets, Iyer served as chief revenue officer at Couchbase, creator of the world's first engagement database. At SAP, Iyer was global vice president of big data and analytics, where he led the go-to-market, sales and global center of excellence functions. During Iyer's tenure at SAS, he was general manager with responsibilities covering Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. At Informatica, Iyer served as senior vice president and general manager for the company's Strategic Initiatives unit.
Judy Ko

Judy Ko

Chief Product Officer

Judy has had a storied career in enterprise software, having worked in BEA and then at Informatica. At Informatica, she held a number of executive roles in product management and marketing, including owning marketing for Informatica Cloud. As StreamSets CPO, Judy will be responsible for integrating product management and marketing, managing the full product life cycle and product portfolio, improving user experience, and driving alignment across the business.
Asim Mohammad

Asim Mohammad

VP of Customer Success

Asim has had a wide and varied career across retail, banking and defense industries with a specialization in data and a unique eye for customer-centric solutions. He has been a StreamSets customer and brings his breadth of experience to focus on customer success and customer enablement activities, including professional services and education. He has served as CIO for a defense contracting company supporting a major initiative for the US Air Force, SVP of Data Management for a retail startup, and senior leadership roles at Bank of America, with a focus on consumer banking and an omnichannel strategy.

Raji Narayanan

VP of Product Management

Raji Narayanan is a product leader who comes with a wealth of experience leading product and engineering teams at startups and industry leaders. She focuses on solving challenging problems for businesses around data, cloud and APIs. At StreamSets, she leads a stellar team of product managers and designers to drive overall product roadmap and strategy for delivering compelling products and user experiences.

Girish Pancha

Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Girish Pancha is a data industry veteran who has spent his career developing successful and innovative products that address the challenge of providing integrated information as a mission-critical, enterprise-grade solution. Before co-founding StreamSets, Girish was the first vice-president engineering and chief product officer at Informatica, where he was responsible for the company’s corporate development and entire product portfolio strategy and delivery. Girish also was co-founder and CEO at Zimba, a developer of a mobile platform providing real-time access to corporate information, which he led to a successful acquisition. Girish began his career at Oracle, where he managed the development of its Discoverer Business Intelligence platform.
Mike Pickett StreamSets

Mike Pickett

VP of Product Growth

Mike is a veteran in the technology industry and specialist in the data integration market. Mike has held Sr. Leadership roles at Tibco Software, Informatica and Talend, spanning Alliances, Sales, Strategic Business Development and Corporate Development. In his role as Vice President of Growth at StreamSets, Mike is responsible for overseeing our Developer self service and Product Led Growth initiatives.

Arvind Prabhakar

Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer

Arvind Prabhakar is a seasoned technology leader, who has worked on data integration challenges for over 10 years. Before co-founding StreamSets, Arvind was an early employee of Cloudera, and led teams working on integration technologies such as Flume and Sqoop. A member of the Apache Software Foundation, Arvind is heavily involved in the open-source community as the PMC Chair for Apache Flume, the first PMC Chair of Apache Sqoop, and member of various other Apache projects. Prior to Cloudera, Arvind was a software architect at Informatica, where he was responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing several core systems.

Rowan Scranage

VP of Global Sales

Rowan brings a proven track record of growth and success in leading sales teams to StreamSets. Over the past 10 years, he has worked for numerous startups within the AI and Analytics field including as SVP of global sales at Alluxio, CRO at Peltarion, EMEA and APAC sales at Couchbase, and Vice President of Global Sales & Business Development for Amdocs’ Big Data, Strategic Initiatives Division. Prior to that, he spent 10 years in the telecoms infrastructure field.

Dima Spivak

VP of Engineering, Enablement

Dima is an engineering leader who is passionate about leveraging automation to help teams release high-quality software quickly and efficiently. At StreamSets, he oversees the Engineering Productivity, Systems Tooling, and Documentation teams. Prior to this, Dima was a Software Engineer at Cloudera. He is also a committer and PMC member of the Apache HBase project.

Suzy Tighe

VP of Global Marketing

Suzy Tighe, VP of Global Marketing. Suzy brings experience from Sun Microsystems, MySQL, MongoDB and Talend. In the time she was there, Talend grew from 300 employees to more than 1,200 and grew revenues by 4x. With almost 15 years’ experience in Demand Generation, Suzy brings to StreamSets the fine art and science of Marketing at scale.

Ted Torous

General Counsel

Ted leads StreamSets’ legal team with a unique perspective as a former software engineer. He has significant in-house legal leadership and experience supporting SaaS companies in a variety of commercial and corporate matters. His prior experience includes positions at Microsoft, Covington & Burling, and Medallia.

Jerry Yu

VP of DevOps and Cloud Services

Jerry brings 25+ years of experience in Infrastructure and network design, and enterprise application hosting management. At StreamSets, Jerry is responsible for building and managing the StreamSets Cloud Services operation and release management for all of StreamSets products. Prior to joining StreamSets, Jerry held leadership roles in Engineering Services, QA, and Operation at S&P, Siebel System, and Informatica.
Dharmesh Thakker

Dharmesh Thakker

General Partner at Battery Ventures

Dharmesh Thakker joined Battery Ventures in 2015 to focus on early-venture and growth-equity investments in areas including cloud infrastructure, big data, security and next-generation enterprise applications. He is actively involved with Battery Ventures portfolio companies including StreamSets. Prior to Battery, Dharmesh was a managing director at Intel Capital, where he led the firm’s global cloud and big-data practice and made early- and later-stage investments in companies globally. In 2016, Dharmesh was named to the Forbes Midas Brink list of up-and-coming venture capitalists, and in 2018 he was included on Business Insider’s 23 Top Venture Capitalists in Enterprise Tech list. He is a contributor to the Wall Street Journal and TechCrunch, and has a regular column in Forbes.

Peter Sonsini

General Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA)

Pete joined NEA in 2005 and is the head of the firm’s Enterprise practice group. His primary focus is on early-stage software investing, in many cases as the very first investor in the company. Some of his current investments include Conviva, Databricks, FabFitFun, Forethought, GuideSpark, Instabase, Lattice Engines, MapR Technologies, Matroid, Nefeli, Nginx, PlayVS, Splashtop and Yubico. Past exits include Audience (DIRECTV), Eucalyptus (HP), Lithium (Vista), Pentaho (Hitachi), PortAuthority (Websense), StormPath (OKTA), Teracent (Google), Tintri (TNTRQ), and Xensource (Citrix Systems). Prior to NEA Pete was on Diane Greene’s executive staff at VMware, and ran product management at Mirapoint before he worked in sales and marketing at Hewlett-Packard.
Sohaib Abbasi

Sohaib Abbasi

Former Chairman & CEO of Informatica

Sohaib Abbasi served as chief executive officer of Informatica from 2004 to 2015. Under his leadership, Informatica grew five-fold to $1 billion. Software revenue from new products grew by a 10-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 50% to become the number one independent leader in data integration, data quality, MDM and cloud data integration. Prior to Informatica, Sohaib served at Oracle Corporation for 20 years. Sohaib served on the board of Red Hat Software from 2011 to 2019 and on the board of New Relic from 2016 to 2019. Currently, Sohaib serves on the board of McAfee and StreamSets, and as a senior advisor at TPG (Texas Pacific Group) and Balderton Capital.
