Contributing

In order to become a contributor to StreamSets open-source projects on GitHub you must sign the Contributor License Agreement.  StreamSets will not accept any pull requests or source contributions unless you sign the CLA.

Separate agreements exist for Individuals (Independent Contributor License Agreement), and Corporations (Corporate Contributor License Agreement). The CLA grants a copyright and patent license to StreamSets, and users of the software, stating that you are legally entitled to grant such a license.

Upon opening a Pull Request (PR) a bot will verify whether a CLA has been signed for your GitHub username. If you have not yet signed, please follow the link shown in the comment thread of your PR. An example is shown below. For further details on contributing guidelines for a specific project, see the CONTRIBUTING.md file in the GitHub repository of the project you're interested in.
